Windermere Part 2
The weather was still a bit wet but much of the UK was getting more rain. We got out and about a did some good walks. We have realised that we don't need to walk massive distances or go up great heights anymore, sticking more to lower levels and a max of around 5 miles. A walk around Tarn Hows An old favourite, and easy walk around Buttermere and a fantastic walk in Langdale Valley just as the mist was coming in. Luckily we got to the Sticklebarn pub just in time. Lovely pub for a beer or a hot drink after a walk in the fells & free dog biscuits 😉The pub is the only pub owned by the National Trust and is well worth a visit. Tuesday 30 November, just taken the awning down ready for moving day tomorrow. Still misty but the awning was more or less dry. Now off to walk the dogs. We've found a walk nearby just outside Kendal, Cunswick Fell where the dogs can have a run. It's...
